The Prospect Development Pipeline (PDP) is a collaborative effort between MLB and USA Baseball to establish an official identification and player development pathway for amateur baseball players in the United States.

Athletes participating in the PDP receive access to state of the art technology for their unique baseball and athletic assessments, along with the most comprehensive evaluative experience of any sport, including professional sports’ combines.

The PDP League is the newest joint MLB and USA Baseball initiative. An expansion of PDP program, the League will consist of eighty of the top High School prospects in the country participating in the most premier development experience in the marketplace.

Players at all levels, from the amateur ranks to the big leagues, should aspire to reach their full potential. PDP events have been designed to provide the exposure and objective feedback required to enable players to be the best version of themselves.

The strategic vision of the PDP is guided by the PDP Steering Group, which is made up of MLB Club representatives, MLB officials and USA Baseball personnel. The group provides feedback on the current status of the program, while also helping identify future areas of growth.
